Dear Instructor/Trainer,
Enclosed is the information pack for our forthcoming event on Sunday 18th October 2009 at The Agincourt Club. The day will feature Junior and Adult Light Continuous Kickboxing Competition for novices and experienced fighters. In the evening there will be a Fight Night which is a separate event.
All fights will be prematched so please ensure all entries are sent in 7days before the event date. All bouts will be in a ring and all competitors will receive a trophy.
The day event will also feature modified K1 rules (controlled contact) bouts, this is a new format for our events and we believe it will give an outlet for our low kick and Thaiboxing clubs to compete in the controlled contact arena.
Please ensure your fighters details are completed correctly. It is essential that any last minute cancellations or changes to entries are passed on to us before the day as this may affect the smooth running of the show and will avoid disappointment for a fighter whose opponent doesn’t turn up.
Please be aware The promoters and BIKMA will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained throughout the competition. The will have BIKMA referees and officials in attendance at all times but it is the responsibility each instructor to ensure his/her fighters conduct themselves in a fit and proper manner and adhere to all instructions given by referees or event officials. Failure to do so could result in injury or disqualification. There will be a paramedic in attendance all day.
